
Nurmukhanbetov Arman Bekmukhanbetuly
Kazakh scientist, writer and professional propagandist of the Great Steppe culture. Since 1999 he has been writing articles, scripts, books, poems and songs on the theme of steppe nomads, filming videos, films and television programs about this, organizing various meetings and actions, developing models of steppe style clothes, etc.
Arman took part in the museumification of the Issyk burial ground (mound of the Golden Man) and He is a co-founder of the historical and cultural society “Dalarukh” (Almaty), as well as the creator of the international movement of new nomads “Neonomad”. Together with the authoritative Kazakh Turkologist Edyge Tursunov, he is the author of the book “Qasiet. The Power of the Spirit of the Great Steppe “, dedicated to the steppe spiritual system. In 2015 Arman, together with other enthusiasts, introduced a new holiday – the Day of Kazakh National Clothes.
In addition to constant participation in many TV programs as an invited expert, being the head of the Creative Center, Arman independently made a short musical-historical film-zhyr “Song of Shirak” in which he was the director, scriptwriter and performer of the role of Zhyrau. As a director and scriptwriter he also shot a series of commercials about the benefits of sports, including national sports. He was the presenter of the author’s TV program ARMAN on the 365-info.kz portal, co-host in the documentary film “The wise man from the Saki Clan”.
Since 2017, the host of the program “The Treasures of the Nation” on the channel “Kazakh TV”, recognized by the National Television Award “Tumar” as the best educational program
